Photo Taking

Hey people,

Please read whatever is below...

Dear students,

We will be having class photo taking for the school magazine commencing from next Monday 12th July for Junior High and Senior High classes. Mr Tan Tui Gee has kindly agreed to help us to take photos again. We thank him for his time and effort.

Below are the details of the photo taking sessions:

1. Please refer to attached schedule for date and time of photo taking for respective classes.

2. Please remember to bring your school tie on the scheduled day for photo taking

3. Informal/ fun shots (about 3 poses) will be taken. Chairpersons please take note and plan with the class so that you can inform Mr Tan Tui Gee what the shots will consist of prior to the photo taking to avoid unnecessary delays during the photo-taking session.

4. Simple props can be brought for the funs shots. note: items must not be bulky

5. Form Teachers and Co-form teachers will report to Mr Tan with the class at the foyer 10 minutes before the scheduled time.

To all my munchkins,

Firstly, to my girls. Well done !!
Wei Wen, thanks for keeping the team together - and everyone else (Jayne, Jue Xin, Munlin, Giwen -- hope I didn't miss anyone?), for the great defend, rebound, and score.
The very best for the next games -- you are one notch closer to championship!! YAY!
More importantly -- Have loads of fun. Rest well, when you can...

And now, to my boys...
I gathered you lost.
I also gathered that fingers are being pointed.
And the morale of the team is currently at an all-time low....
I would always remember the time when my dad would give his little motivational speeches to my brothers:
"The ball is round -- so it can go either way.... And football is a TEAM game, so must work together.... Best position to be in -- UNDERDOGS -- when you are the favourites, the pressure is immense, and you'd lose your cool, and that's when you'll make mistakes."
I'll just add to what my dad said:
So you lose your first game, deal with it, and learn from the mistakes you did or didn't do, just now.
Remember what I always say, "It is easy for us to blame someone when things didn't go well, right?"
And then I also said, "Good or Bad, I would attend to you lot, as a collective unit -- cos you are supposed to look out for one another, and to work on individual weaknesses and turn them into strengths."
I don't want you to be better than 3G, 3C, 3L, etc...
I want you to be THE BETTER 3A TEAM on Monday, from the 3A TEAM on Wednesday.
Yes, everybody wants to win. But it's a competition - so, there would be non-winners.
This inter-class games is another test of how well you guys work together.

It is such a pity that I missed your exciting games. But like what Mdm Arfa and Jerome said, the important part is the process getting there, if you win, its a bonus... Therefore, be there for one another, communicate and enjoy the game - treasure the opportunity to be working towards a common goal while having fun... :)


As for the rest, please be there to support your teams.
